SABRENet is a fibre-optic broadband network linking major Research & Education sites in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia.
Does SABRENet provide internet access?
Not directly. SABRENet provides very high speed communication between sites connected directly to the network. These sites include two AARNet connection points (POPs), which allows AARNet members (the universities and DSTO, for example) to access the internet via AARNet. SABRENet does not provide access to commercial internet service providers (ISPs).
