After recently being acquired by Tobii Dynavox from Sweden, Link Assistive is expanding operations to support people living with disability in over 60 countries worldwide. The reliability of their GigCity connection has ensured smooth operations throughout the expansions, especially for communications with overseas and interstate partners, colleagues, and clients.

Connecting to GigCity has greatly enhanced Link Assistive’s operations. David says that the GigCity connection has, “improved our remote work capabilities and allowed us to efficiently handle large data transfers, ensuring seamless communication and productivity.”
David said, “With our expanding footprint, communication and data have never been more important. The reliability of GigCity enables us to do the business we need to, without interruption.”
“With over 10 staff working remotely interstate and in New Zealand, we rely on faster internet for Teams and Zoom meetings, TeamViewer remote sessions, downloading/uploading via SharePoint and transferring large files.”
“Staff are able to utilise office desk phones which link to our IP PBX system and work as well as if they were here in the head office.”
The new Sophos Firewall also, “turned out to be a great tool, for example securing our IP phone system from attackers”.
“Our growth also includes a significant increase in the number of communication devices for both loans and sales. All these devices will rely on connection to the GigCity network for updates and configuration.”
“This expansion enables us to assist more people living with disability, and enables them to do what they once did, or never thought possible.” David said.
