SABRENet is proud to continue its sponsorship of the SA Science Excellence and Innovation Awards in 2021. We support South Australian science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) and the leaders who inspire our future workforce and deliver ideas, innovation and impact, which in turn supports a healthy environment, economy and community.

Now in its 17th year, the awards recognise South Australian individuals and teams that have made discoveries, collaborated with research or industry partners within and beyond South Australia, or harnessed new knowledge to drive innovation and deliver impact in STEMM.

Organised by the Department for Innovation and Skills – South Australia and the Chief Scientist for South Australia, Professor Caroline McMillen, the SA Science Excellence and Innovation Awards showcases the critical importance of science, research and innovation to the development of industry and society as a whole.

The Awards also recognise the work of inspirational STEMM practitioners, leaders and teams that deliver value in schools, educational institutions, research laboratories and industries across South Australia.

A significant occasion in South Australia’s science calendar, the Awards are recognised as the premier science showcase event highlighting the diversity of scientific endeavour and research in this state.

The Awards Celebration which will be held on Friday, 26 November at Tonsley Innovation District, will be both in person and online via live stream.
